Over the last few days and weeks, events have evolved quite rapidly. The rapid spread of the coronavirus presents us with new challenges every day –challenges that are difficult to master because we lack experience in handling them.
We will continue to monitor the situation around COVID-19 and provide you with information about current developments here. When we make decisions, our primary concern is the health and safety of our employees, customers, and business partners. The primary objective is to slow down the spread of the coronavirus as much as possible.

We are doing everything we can to continue producing in our factories for as long as possible in order to provide reliable, on-time deliveries to our customers. Together with our works councils, we are implementing the recommendations of national and international authorities. We have implemented a series of safety measures to protect our employees and have also divided up our production areas into zones that are separated from each other.
Several weeks ago, we set up a task force that maintains constant contact with our suppliers and actively monitors and safeguards our supply chain. At this time, we only anticipate isolated constraints to the supply chain. However, we still must assume that we will be confronted with increased supply bottlenecks in the coming weeks. Therefore, we ask you to communicate your needs to us early on. We will continue to monitor the situation very closely. And of course we will keep you up-to-date.
In order to protect our customers, business partners, and employees, we have reduced personal contact to a minimum. Until further notice, no on-site customer meetings will take place. Instead, please get in touch with your personal contact by phone or e-mail. We have also temporarily reduced the number of on-site measures to only those that are absolutely essential – such as maintenance or repairs. We will coordinate closely with our business partners in advance.
